The Management Board of Energa SA hereby reports estimated selected financial and operational data of the Energa Group ("Group") for the third quarter and 9 months of 2024.
Estimated selected data for Q3 2024:
Revenues of the Group: PLN 5,224 million (vs. PLN 6,055 million in Q3 2023).
EBITDA of the Group: 671 PLN million (vs. PLN 751 million in Q3 2023).
Operating result (EBIT) of the Group: 352 PLN million (vs. PLN 462 million in Q3 2023).
Net result of the Group: PLN 78 million (vs. PLN 195 million in Q3 2023).
CAPEX of the Group: PLN 1 141 million (vs. PLN 1,157 million in Q3 2023).
Distribution of electricity: 5,416 GWh (vs. 5,346 GWh in Q3 2023).
Gross production of electricity: 550 GWh (vs. 739 GWh in Q3 2023).
Retail sales of electricity: 3 923 GWh (vs. 3 964 GWh in Q3 2023).
In Q3 2024, the Energa Group generated PLN 671 million in EBITDA (operating profit before amortization and impairment of non-financial non-current assets). This result was mainly influenced by the results of the Distribution Business Line in the amount of PLN 687 million. In the Generation Business Line, the EBITDA result amounted to PLN 74 million, while the Sales Business Line generated the EBITDA loss of PLN 74 million.
Selected data for 9M 2024:
Revenues of the Group: PLN 16,830 million (vs. PLN 19,489 million in 9M 2023).
EBITDA of the Group: PLN 2,780 million (vs. PLN 3,358 million in 9M 2023).
Operating result (EBIT) of the Group: PLN 1,842 million (vs. PLN 2,484 in 9M million in Q2 2023).
Net result of the Group: PLN 911 million (vs. PLN 1,619 million in 9M 2023).
CAPEX of the Group: PLN: 3,057 million (vs. PLN 2,888 million in 9M 2023).
Distribution of electricity: 16,892 GWh (vs. 16,610 GWh in 9M 2023).
Gross production of electricity: 2,006 GWh (vs. 2,479 GWh in 9M 2023).
Retail sales of electricity: 12,344 GWh (vs. 12,546 GWh in 9M 2023).
In 9M 2024, the Energa Group's EBITDA amounted to PLN 2,780 million, of which the Distribution Business Line generated PLN 2,292 million, the Generation Business Line PLN 327 million and the Sales Business Line PLN 176 million.
