Subject: Signing of agreement with the General Contractor for the construction of the CCGT power plant in Grudziądz

The Management Board of Energa SA informs that on 18 May 2022 it received the information that its subsidiary CCGT Grudziądz Sp. z o.o. ("Company") had signed the same day the agreement with the consortium of Siemens Energy Global GmbH _amp; Co KG, Siemens Energy Sp. z o.o. and Mytilineos S.A. (together "General Contractor") for the design and construction of a 563 MWe net gas-fired combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant in Grudziądz (_quot;Project_quot;) for an estimated amount of approx. PLN 2 billion.
The planned power plant will be designed and constructed by the General Contractor as a single-shaft unit: with one gas turbine, a recovery boiler, a condensing steam turbine unit and a wet fan cooler. The Project will be performed on a _quot;turnkey_quot; basis, covering the performance of all works including, but not limited to, design, obtaining selected administrative decisions on behalf of the contracting party, deliveries, civil works, assembly, staff training, trial run, test run, commissioning of the power plant and provision of warranty services in the period following commissioning of the power plant. The schedule for the implementation of the Project provides for the commencement of construction works in 2022, and the commissioning of the power plant in 2025.
At the same time, the Company informed that in connection with the above-mentioned agreement it had concluded the long-term contract with Siemens Energy Sp. z o.o. for the provision of maintenance services for the CCGT power plant in Grudziądz (up to a maximum of 20 years from the date of commissioning the power plant).
In December 2021, the Company concluded a 17-year contract with the Transmission System Operator within the capacity market with a capacity obligation in the amount of 518.370 MW, with the first year of delivery in 2026. The total expected revenues of the Company from this contract during its term may amount to at least approx. PLN 3.52 billion.
