Subject: The decision to amicably settle all disputes regarding the invalidity of the agreement for the sale of property rights under certificates of origin between Energa Obrót SA and one of the sued wind farms
Legal basis: Article 17(1) of the Market Abuse Regulation – inside information
In reference to current report No. 37/2017 of 11 September 2017, the Management Board of Energa SA informs that on 27 February 2020 it received information that its subsidiary Energa Obrót SA and one of the contractors sued by Energa Obrót SA, amicably resolved all disputes regarding the three framework agreements for the sale of property rights under certificates of origin referred to in current report No. 37/2017.
The parties to the settlement decided not to continue cooperation in the scope of acquiring property rights on the basis of agreements questioned by Energa Obrót SA.
The conditions under which the settlement was concluded are neutral for the financial result of Energa Obrót SA.
This is the seventh settlement between Energa Obrót SA and the sued wind farms. The total capacity of the facilities affected by the settlements constitutes about 57.5% of the total installed capacity of all defendants of wind farms.
