Subject: Information on appointed President of the Management Board – supplement to Current Report No. 26/2018

The Management Board of ENERGA SA (“Company”) hereby publishes information about President of the Management Board appointed on 2 July 2018 by the Company’s Supervisory Board.
Arkadiusz Siwko – President of the Management Board
An experienced and valued manager, he is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He completed a securities broker course in Warsaw under the patronage of the University of Oxford, an investment adviser course, and a state institution crisis management course in Washington, under the patronage of the U.S. Department of State.
In 1989–1991, he worked as a researcher at the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He then served as Director of the Office of the Minister of Internal Affairs, supervising in 1991–1992 administrative offices, concessions, legal and foreign affairs of the Ministry of the Interior and fire brigades. In 1992, he became a development strategy adviser to the Minister, Head of the Central Planning Office.
In 1993–1996, he held the position of the President of the “Projekt” National Bureau of Financial Consulting, and was also the Chairman of the Warsaw Institute for Finance and International Affairs Foundation. In 1996, he became the legal adviser to the Governor of Warsaw for national administrative reform, and in 1997 he was appointed Vice-President of the Management Board of the Polish Tourism Organization and adviser to the President of the Office of Physical Culture and Tourism. In 1998–2005, he held the position of the Vice-President of the Management Board of Orbis S.A. and the Director of the Orbis S.A. Academy.
In 2005, he became the transport and development adviser to the Minister of Transport and Construction. In 2006–2008, he was the President of the Management Board of Operator Logistyczny Paliw Płynnych, a leader in the fuel storage market (including mandatory and state reserves); then, in 2008-2013, he was the General Manager of the “Projekt” National Bureau of Financial Consulting. In 2013, he became the President of the Board of the Grosvenor House Institute of Strategic Studies.
In December 2015, the Supervisory Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. – the largest defence group in Eastern Europe – appointed him President of the Management Board. He held this position until February 2017. During his tenure, PGZ concluded the largest armaments contract in the history of the Polish armaments industry – the contract to supply armaments to the armed forces of the Republic of Poland.
In the early 1990s, Arkadiusz Siwko served as deputy editor-in-chief of the Młoda Polska weekly in Gdańsk, for which he received the Decoration of Honor Meritorious for Polish Culture from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, deputy Prime Minister Piotr Gliński.
Mr. Arkadiusz Siwko is not engaged in any business competitive to that of ENERGA SA, does not participate in any competitive entity as a partner in a civil law company or partnership or as a member of a corporate body of a joint stock or limited liability company and does not participate in any other competitive legal person as a member of its corporate authority, or is listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept pursuant to the National Court Register Act.
