Energa Generation segment’s success in RES auction

On 30 June 2017, an RES auction was held for existing installations with a capacity under 1 MW. All nine small hydropower plants submitted by Energa Wytwarzanie submitted winning bids in this auction. The total installed capacity in these units is 2.3 MW, while the volume of energy offered by the Group represents 12% of the volume sold in this auction. The maximum quantity of electricity offered for sale in the auction was defined by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office at nearly 1.5 TWh with a value of PLN 631 million. In this auction, 0.3 TWh of electricity was sold for PLN 116 million, representing 21% and 18.4% of the offered quantities, respectively. The minimum energy sales price was PLN 290/MWh and the maximum sales price was PLN 474/MWh.
