The Management Board of ENERGA SA („Company") in addition to the current report No. 24/2015 of 2 December 2015 presents the biographical note of Mr. Roman Pionkowski.
Roman Pionkowski is a graduate of Gdansk University of Technology (Faculty of Electronics - 1987, Faculty of Management and Economics - 1999) and a PhD in Economics (2001). He has been professionally connected with the power industry for nearly 25 years. Since 2000 he served on the boards of the electricity distribution companies in Plock, Lodz and Gdansk. From 2007 to 2012 he worked in Energa Group, where he led restructuring and investment projects, including the projects of the Distribution Operator System separation and preparation of Ostroleka C power plant construction. From 2007 to 2008 he worked in the Board of Energa SA, and in 2010-2012 he has been the President of the Management Board of Power Ostroleka SA. From 2013 to April 2015 as the President of the Management Board of the PSE Investments SA he managed the design and supervision of investment for network investments. From May to December 2015 he worked as the President of the Management Board of the Board ENERGA- OEPRATOR SA. In 2006-2014 he served functions in Supervisory Boards of the energy industry. Since 1992 he has been active in the Polish Society of Transmission and Distribution of Electricity serving as Member of the Board in 2007-2008 and 2015. In 2008-2013 he served as Vice President of Power Engineering Employers Association (later the Association of Employers of Energy) and the Federation of Employers of Polish Power Industry. Since 2009 he was a member of the Tripartite Committee for the Energy Industry.
