Capital for Growth - Energa participates in program to promote Polish capital market
"Capital for Growth" is a cycle of 16 regional meetings devoted to the financing of development of companies and self-governments using EU funds, with support from the capital market and other form of co-funding.
The first meeting was held in Gdańsk, on Wednesday, 27 May. There are 52 companies from the Pomeranian Voivodship listed on the main market and on the NewConnect market; their percentage in the overall number of large corporates is as much as 11%, the highest ratio in Poland. During the conference, Energa was represented by Jolanta Szydłowska, Vice-President for Corporate Matters, who took part in the discussion on effective methods of using capital market instruments to finance investments.
Development Capital is a project organized by the Warsaw Stock Exchange, in cooperation with Voivodship Marshals, National Depository of Securities (KDPW), Bank PKO BP, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and Polskie Inwestycje Rozwojowe. Patrons of this event include the Ministry of Treasury and Employers of the Republic of Poland. The project will be implemented from May to November 2015 in Poland’s largest cities.
