ENERGA to acquire Danish and Spanish wind farms

The President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection has approved the acquisition of wind farms from DONG Energy Wind Power A/S and Iberdrola Renovables Energía, S.A.U. by ENERGA Hydro. The deal should be closed within the next few weeks.

After the completion of the transaction, ENERGA Group will take over three wind farms operating in northern Poland with a total installed capacity of 165 MW, as well as a project package.

The agreement with DONG Energy envisages ENERGA taking over an operating wind farm in Karcino in Zachodniopomorskie Province, with a capacity of 51 MW, and five projects in progress in northern Poland, with a total planned capacity of approx. 220 MW.

Under the agreement with Iberdrola Renovables Energía, ENERGA Group will also acquire two operating wind farms – Karścino in Zachodniopomorskie Province and Bystra in Pomorskie Province – with a total installed capacity of 114 MW, as well as a project package of ca. 1190 MW.
